About PolicyVaulted
Official Intelligence Desk • Domain: policyvaulted.com • Last updated: August 2026
PolicyVaulted is an independent digital intelligence initiative created specifically for drivers navigating complex, non-standard auto insurance situations: DUIs, SR-22/FR-44 state mandates, license suspensions, coverage lapses, and young high-risk driver surcharges.
Why We Built PolicyVaulted
Most mainstream insurance publications are built for preferred drivers with immaculate records, 800+ credit scores, and multiple bundled homes. They repeat generic advice like "costs may vary" and direct distressed motorists into aggressive lead generation loops without explaining the underlying state statutes or rate math.
When a driver receives a DUI conviction, a mandatory SR-22 certificate order, or a 30-day coverage lapse notice, they are suddenly thrust into the non-standard insurance market. They face conflicting information, predatory sales pitches, and steep rate quotes that can vary by several thousand dollars between carriers for the exact same vehicle.
PolicyVaulted exists to eliminate the fog. We collect, analyze, and publish real 50-state rate datasets, statutory lookback rules, and step-by-step DMV clearance pathways so motorists can regain their driving freedom without being financially exploited.
